Weare seeking a passionate and organised Deputy Head of Early Intervention Programme (EIP) to support the leadership and operations of our EIP.

The role involves overseeing studentsupport services, curriculum coordination, parent engagement, team mentoring, and programme development to ensure high-quality inclusive education for students with diverse learningneeds.

Key Responsibilities

Programme Management & Student Support

  • Conduct small group teaching sessions for children with learningdifficulties when required.
  • Coordinate student placement assessments and classallocations.
  • Oversee Individualised Education Plans (IEPs),progress reports, and student records.
  • Support curriculum planning, classroom resources,and programme development.
  • Organise parent-teacher conferences, workshops, andcommunication with families.
  • Lead and coordinate student support services,working closely with teachers, therapists, and parents to ensure effectivelearning, behavioural support, and implementation of IEPs for students withdiverse learning needs.
  • Oversee assessments, inclusive education practices,and the training and supervision of teaching assistants, volunteers, andinterns to support high-quality intervention services.
  • Mentor and support EIP teachers, assistants,volunteers, and interns.
  • Organise team meetings and assist with staffperformance reviews.
  • Ensure teaching documentation and record-keepingstandards are maintained.
  • Manage staff deployment and scheduling duringabsences.
  • Support audits, SOP updates, and compliancerequirements.
  • Assist with projects, resource planning, andoperational improvements.
  • Prepare materials for school events, outings,marketing, and workshops.

Requirements

  • Master / Degree in Special Education, Psychology, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in special education with 3 years in a supervisory role.
  • Experience working with children with special needs, developmental delays, or learning difficulties is preferred.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organisationalskills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively withmultidisciplinary teams and families.
  • Passion for supporting children with diverselearning needs.
