SPED Teachers (SAAC)

Curriculum & Instruction

• Lesson Delivery: Plan and deliver engaging, evidence-based lessons tailored to diverse learner profiles.
• Assessment: Monitor student progress through accurate feedback and targeted instructional supports to close learning gaps.

Holistic Student Development

• Support & Planning: Build strong relationships with students and manage data-driven IEP/ITP processes in collaboration with families and professionals.
• Environment & Behavior: Establish safe classroom routines and implement behavior management plans for students with complex needs.
• Safety: Manage emergency situations and school safety protocols effectively.

Professionalism & School Initiatives

• Growth: Proactively engage in professional development and collaborative learning teams.
• Engagement: Support CCAs, school committees, and various initiatives/events.

Partnerships & Administration

• Stakeholder Management: Maintain communication with families and community partners to support student transitions and post-school outcomes.
• Admin: Handle daily administrative tasks (attendance, forms, family updates).
• Specialized Support: Conduct parent education and integrate assistive technology (e.g., AAC or learning tech).

Vocational (Students 13+)

• Deliver vocational programmes and foster industry partnerships to enhance student employment opportunities.

· Recognised Polytechnic Diploma

· Teaching qualifications or equivalent in Special Education will be an advantage

· Experience in dealing with children and youths with autism will be an advantage
