Junior Medical Technologist, Paediatrics

Location: One-north

Working Hours: Mon-Fri, Office Hours

Job details:

• Collaborate with doctors and healthcare professionals to ensure smooth delivery of patient care and laboratory operations.
• Perform pulmonary function tests (e.g., spirometry, NIOX-ENO, diffusion capacity, bronchial provocation, sweat testing) and allergy tests as requested.
• Prepare preliminary test reports, document results accurately, and support timely review by doctors.
• Coordinate urgent test requests with departments, clinics, and wards to ensure timely service delivery.
• Maintain laboratory equipment, calibration, inventories, and consumables to ensure operational readiness.
• Manage procurement and stock replenishment to prevent shortages and ensure compliance with validity requirements.
• Ensure quality standards, accuracy, and compliance in clinical procedures and laboratory documentation.
• Supervise and guide staff to maintain high standards of patient care and operational efficiency.
• Handle patient enquiries, service recovery, appointment scheduling, and telephone requests.
• Support service quality initiatives, statistical reporting, and additional duties assigned by supervisors.

• Min Diploma in Medical Science / Biotechnology
• Prior experience in clinical service would be an advantage
