Stardust is seeking a highly experienced and dedicated Gymnastics Coach to join our leadership team. This is a pivotal role for a professional who is not only a technical expert but also a mentor and leader, capable of shaping the future of our club program.

The Role

As the Coach, you will be responsible for the advanced development of our competitive and/or recreational gymnasts. You will work closely with the Head Coach and other staff to maintain and elevate the club's standard of coaching. Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and implementing comprehensive training programs for our athletes.
  • Leading training sessions with a focus on advanced skills, technique, and competition readiness, where applicable.
  • Mentoring junior coaches and assistant coaches to ensure a consistent and effective coaching philosophy across the gym.
  • Conducting regular performance assessments and providing constructive feedback to athletes and their parents.
  • Collaborating with the Head Coach on team selection, if any, competition strategies, and long-term athlete development plans.
  • Upholding the highest standards of safety, ethics, and sportsmanship, and ensuring all training adheres to Singapore Gymnastics guidelines.

Who We're Looking For

The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated and experienced professional with:

  • Track record of gymnastics coaching / sports-related experience.
  • Proven leadership and mentorship abilities.
  • An expert-level understanding of gymnastics coaching methodologies and the latest trends in the sport.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with athletes, parents, and colleagues.
  • A strong commitment to continuous professional development.

Qualifications

  • Minimum high school (or equivalent) certificate
  • Current CPR/First Aid and Safe Sport certifications.
  • Minimum 5 years coaching experience.
