Job Summary

Join our retail team as a Retail Shop Assistant at Holland Village or Changi Jewel, delivering excellent customer service and supporting daily store operations to create a pleasant shopping experience for families and children.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers warmly to create a welcoming shopping environment
• Identify customer needs and recommend suitable baby and kids products
• Process cashiering duties, handle payments, and complete daily sales transactions accurately
• Maintain clean, neat, and attractive store displays to enhance product visibility
• Replenish stock and ensure shelves are consistently well-stocked
• Assist with receiving stock deliveries, conducting inventory checks, and performing stocktakes
• Support store promotions, campaigns, and seasonal activities to drive sales
• Update product pricing, labels, and displays to ensure accuracy
• Collaborate with team members to meet sales and service targets
• Perform other daily shop operation tasks as needed

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Prior retail or customer service experience
• Friendly, patient, cheerful, and proactive attitude in customer interactions
• Enjoys engaging with families, parents, and children
• Effective communication skills and ability to work well in a team
• Responsible, punctual, and eager to learn
• Availability to work retail hours including weekends and public holidays
• Fresh graduates, students, interns, and candidates without experience are encouraged to apply
