BD Manager (Contract logistics)

Our client is a leading player in 3PL. Due to ongoing expansion, they are looking for a Business Development Manager to support their growing legal and project teams. They are located in the (East) – easily accessible.

Responsibilities

• Determine and recommend optimal logistics operating solutions tailored to customer requirements.
• Support project implementation and handover processes, and where necessary, take the lead in developing and executing cross-functional, value-added supply chain solutions.
• Manage sales leads, tenders, and RFQs in a timely and effective manner.
• Maintain regular communication with existing customers and actively develop new business opportunities.
• Lead the operations team in handling and resolving customer enquiries efficiently.
• Continuously monitor service standards and collaborate with operations teams to drive performance across all key areas, including lead times, complaint resolution, and escalation management.
• Work closely with relevant internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth operations and service delivery.
• Perform any ad hoc duties or projects assigned by management.

Requirements

• Experience in contract logistics

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business or equivalent
