Position Summary

We are looking for an Assistant Trader to join our team in Singapore. We offer a supportive and performance driven team environment.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for providing full trading and operational support daily
  • Assist the execution trading team with pre-trade controls and post-trade processes including reconciliation
  • Liaise with counterparties on trade details and resolve breaks or other issues as necessary to facilitate settlement.
  • Ensure compliance with internal risk controls and regulatory requirements
  • Prepare daily and monthly reports on portfolio performance and trading activity
  • Coordinate and assist in testing and implementation of new internal processes

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance or quantitative/engineering background
  • 1 to 2 years of related experience preferred
  • Knowledge of financial markets/ financial services industry
  • Excellent numerical and analytical skills
  • Strong work ethic and strong attention and accuracy to detail
  • Strong computer skills, especially in advanced Excel and AI assistants. Programming skills in key languages will be a plus.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and organize time effectively in a fast-paced environment with self-motivation to the pursuit of excellence
