KYC Specialist

1 Year Contract KYC Specialist

Our client is a reputable organization in the banking industry seeking a KYC Specialist to support client onboarding and due diligence activities.

Job Responsibilities

• Analyse client profiles to determine the required KYC information and documentation in accordance with internal procedures and regulatory requirements

• Support the review and collection of KYC documentation for new client onboarding and existing client reviews across various client types

• Conduct preliminary due diligence checks, name screening, background screening, and basic risk assessments in line with AML/CFT/CPF guidelines

• Coordinate with internal stakeholders and clients to obtain outstanding documentation and resolve KYC-related queries or issues

• Monitor and track onboarding pipelines, pending items, and periodic review schedules to ensure timely completion

• Escalate KYC deficiencies, discrepancies, or potential red flags to senior team members for further assessment

• Support the preparation, maintenance, and filing of KYC documentation and records

• Ensure proper record management and maintain data integrity across internal systems and databases

• Escalate operational, regulatory, and compliance risks to line managers and functional leads where appropriate

Requirements

• Minimum Degree in Banking, Finance, Business, or related disciplines

• 3 to 8 years of relevant experience in KYC, CDD, AML, or client onboarding within the banking or financial services industry

• Good understanding of account opening documentation and client onboarding processes

• Familiarity with AML/CFT regulations and KYC compliance requirements

• Strong attention to detail with good analytical and communication skills

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Additional Information

• 1-year contract position

• Monthly salary: S$5,000 to S$8,000 (commensurate with experience)
