Service Engineer (Crane maintenance, Welding)

The Opportunity

You will be joining an MNC and have the opportunity to gain more experience in diagnosing, repairing, welding, inspecting, commissioning, and maintaining mobile and crawler cranes.

The Job

• Diagnose, adjust, repair or overhaul mobile crane and crawler cranes.
• Perform welding tasks according to our factory welding instructions and specifications.
• Conduct new or used crane training and commissioning.
• Conduct crane inspections, prepare inspection reports and recommended new replacement parts.
• Perform crane erection training for mobile telescopic and crawler crane types.
• Rectify crane faults.
• Perform remote diagnostics in real time using crane error codes that provided by customer using diagnostics using Service Software (i.e. Sculi, LIDIA etc )
• Test mechanical and electrical products and crane equipment after repair or modification to ensure proper performance and compliance with manufacturer’s specifications.
• Dismantle and reassemble heavy equipment using hoists and hand tools.
• Carry out maintenance work on telescopic mobile or crawler cranes.
• Any other additional duties as assigned.

The Talent

• At least 1-3 years of relevant experience in the crane industry.
• Possesses basic hydraulic and electrical knowledge.
• Ability to work in heavy machinery environment, under chassis or work at height.
• Experienced in Welding, preferably in cranes.
• Willing to crawl in small spaces and carriage of the crane.
• Open to regional travels, mainly SEA, sometimes to Germany for training.
• Singaporeans only.
