Semicon Assembly Technician x 20 (Islandwide)

We are hiring Technicians for manufacturing opportunities in semiconductor, electronics and medical components. Candidates will be considered for assembly, production or equipment maintenance roles based on their skills and experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical, electrical and electronic components according to drawings, specifications and work instructions.

• Perform functional testing and quality inspections; identify defects and carry out rework.

• Set up, inspect and maintain production equipment.

• Troubleshoot equipment or assembly issues and perform authorised repairs.

• Support engineers with root cause investigations, equipment installation, modifications and continuous improvement.

• Maintain accurate production, testing and maintenance records.

• Follow workplace safety requirements, cleanroom protocols and 5S practices.

• Maintain tools, spare parts and work areas in good condition.

Requirements

• NITEC, Higher NITEC, Diploma or equivalent technical qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, Manufacturing Engineering or a related discipline.

• Relevant experience in assembly, production, equipment maintenance or manufacturing.

• Able to interpret technical drawings, schematics and work instructions.

• Hands-on troubleshooting skills and knowledge of mechanical or electrical systems are an advantage.

• Comfortable working in a cleanroom environment where required.

• Willing to work shifts and overtime, depending on the position.

• Able to handle the physical requirements of the role, including lifting materials where required.

Salary and Benefits

• Monthly basic salary: $2,150–$4,600, depending on the role, qualifications and relevant experience.
